t.Lab’s student of the month is Mr. Michael White, Jr., Michael, a mechanical engineering major, attends Tennessee State University (or TSU). As a recipient of the Thurgood Marshal lCollege Fund Scholarship, Michael completed an internship at the US Army Research Laboratory in Orlando, Florida during the summer of 2017.
His diligence and preparation landed a vital research assignment at the Army’s Medical Research Simulation TissueLaboratory. Upon completion of the assignment, Michael presented research results at the Thurgood Marshall College Fund's Capstone Symposium event held inWashington DC.
Additionally, Michael visited the White House, Pentagon, and the Museum of African AmericanHistory. A champion orator, Michael is excelling in engineering and professional development at TSU. Michael White, Jr., is the son of Mr. Michael White, Sr.,and Mrs. Pamela White, both parents are graduates of TSU. Michael White Jr., is the oldest of six siblings.
